Oil Painting Classes - Materials List

Once you have registered for your classes you will receive an email to confirm the studios full address.  Please check your spam folder if you do not receive the email within 24 hours. If you have questions, you can call John Varriano at 917-821-5560.

Canvas

• It is recommended that students purchase one to three canvases.  Choose cotton canvas (less expensive) or linen canvas (higher quality) in the size you prefer.  Suggested canvas size 14 x 17 inches or 18 x 24 inches.  If you plan on working on the same subject during each class you may purchase one canvas instead of three.

• Paint palette with hole for thumb.

Oil Paints and Brushes

• Oil paints, brushes and art materials used during your classes are provided by The Manhattan Art Studio of Varriano Fine Arts.  If students have their own oil paints and brushes they would like to use, they are welcome to bring them to class.
